Our stainless couplings are manufactured from type 316 stainless for maximum corrosion resistance. Care is taken at the factory to ensure a smooth finish on wetted surfaces to minimize bacteria build-up in sanitary applications. Ductile iron cam-locks are not plated. Female couplers are supplied with locking clips. Additionally, G65SSC & G65SSE fittings feature a collar that, when used with G3F crimp ferrules, locks the coupling to the ferrule for extra fitting retention in sizes 2", 3", and 4". G65SSC & G65SSE fittings can be crimped or clamped depending on customer preference. Please note, cam-locks should not be used with compressed air or other compressed gases.
